ABOUT ME
MY STORY
I have loved taking and looking at photos my whole life. As a kid in the 90’s, I would drop my fully used disposable camera off at a one hour photo and not so patiently wait to see all the memories I had captured get developed into photos I could hold. Mostly, they were blurry pictures of blinking friends and yet I loved them.
I credit my grandma Hannah for my love of cameras. She always seemed to have one around her neck and jumped at the chance to dress my sister and I up to take glamour shots. My mom gets the credit for instilling in me the importance of documenting life and family. She is the caretaker of our family tree and loves to pore over old photo albums. I’m getting a later professional start than a lot of photographers because it wasn’t until I hit my 30’s that I realized that my goals, dreams, and art were worth pursuing. I have two young daughters and I want them to see and know that their dreams and passions are worth chasing too. I’m nostalgic through and through so taking and sharing good photos fills my tank to the brim.
