This is a very popular place to do photos and for good reason. It offers tons of different background options all within a very short walking distance. There are ponds, trails, tons of wild plants and trees, rocks to sit on, and even a few little hills. Just across the street, the downtown shops offer a more “urban” vibe with brick walls, staircases, benches, old buildings, and the small stage on Breidert Green. It’s a crowd pleaser in any season and there are some ice cream spots if you need to use bribery to get the kids to smile. I’m not above it.

Bird Haven & Greenhouse

Joliet, IL

This place is dreamy! It’s beautiful inside with 4 separate rooms offering different foliage and backgrounds. There is a small pond and waterfall in one of the rooms. This is a great option if it’s cold outside or rainy. It is also beautiful outside and has trails nearby as well as a gazebo and lots of flowers in the spring and summer.

*$30 will be added to the price of your session if you choose this place because a $30 photo permit will be needed. I will take care of acquiring that.
